For those that have the carpeted Lloyd's trunk mats, does it have the cut outs for the D rings on the floor? The description doesn't say and they haven't answered my email. I'm specifically looking at the Ultimat version. Also, is the back side of the mat rubber? Ideally I'd like to flip it over and use the back side from time to time.
Thanks
Here's a picture of mine-- Lloyds mat on my 19 GS 3LT. I occasionally cover it with a WeatherTech cargo mat when I'm hauling stuff,.hence the square pattern in the Lloyds mat.
Although Lloyds mats are good looking and used by many, I prefer the versatility of a 40x72 moving blanket from HF. When doubled over it fits fine and cushions well, When extended, it can cover/protect everything from the seat to the exhaust tips. it's easily removed for things like picnics or lying on a golf course lawn while watching the stars or whatever.
Slippery? I know exactly what you mean. My C6 came with Weather Tech matts. They are great if you are in wet weather, but I did not like that slippery feel.
For long trips I like to take off my shoes when I am riding, I like the feel of my feet on carpet, not hard slippery plastic.
For our daily driver second car (not a Vette), we have Weather Tech.
