Finally got the garage floor I’ve want for years! Even my wife loves it!
Before - years of abuse Much nicer now! Just needs some more cleaning and putting things away! Having to trim all four sides was time consuming.. thank goodness I had the common sense to by a laminate cutter!
Hey guys your garage floors look great. What was the cost and where it you buy the supplies?
You order directly through Racedeck on their website. CF has a discount code as well and they run sales 2 or 3 times per year. What's fun is their online configurator which gives you the ability to design your floor. I must have designed about 10 different floors with different colors, trim sections, etc. before I made my final decision.
My floor has the 12"/1' Freeflow tiles so they are priced per square foot or per tile. The configurator automatically calculates the cost based on the design. I then added 5 extra tiles in each color for extras in case any get damaged. I'm glad I did because I damaged a few over the years that I simply swapped out.
Looks great OP and the rest of you guys. I did Swisstrax about 5 years ago. I absolutely love it, wouldn’t change a thing. Quick shop vac periodically and a wet towel wipe down.
Looks VERY nice !!! What about when you pull in when the car is wet ? AND the fact that I live on a 1/4 mile dirt and sand road. I would think once a year I would take them apart and clean under them ?
Thanks, Rich

Both Swisstrax and Racedeck offer the grid or Freeflow tiles which allows rainwater, etc. to flow through the tile onto the floor underneath. Once a year, I hit the floor with a shop vac to suck up any debris and I then pressure wash the floor which then removes any left over stuff underneath the tiles with water run off going out the door as my flooring is pitched per code. If you have a garage floor drain, even better.

I paid $1250 for the tiles in December with a 15% off sale plus $250 for the excellent tile cutter they sell. Standard size 2 car garage. The dirt, dust, and water fall below the tiles leaving a pretty much clean tile floor at all times. Seems to drain well with wet car. One of the best, easiest, and most enjoyable upgrades I have done to my home.
I had considered the SwissTrax Griots Garage sells, a slightly heavier tile, but they had multiple price increases last year and the RaceDeck was a few hundred $ less expensive
Yes! And I can feel it! It’s not as easy as it would have been years ago! It was an all day job! I Had to empty and remove a couple cabinets and the rest of the equipment in my garage and then I vacuumed the entire floor before putting down the tiles. But, ir was well worth it. The next day was getting rid of all the things that I haven’t used in a long time!
