Default A different hatch pull down question.

The other recent thread concerned the electric pull down feature being retro fitted to 14-15 MY's. My question is about the "handle" where you grab the trunk or hatch to pull it down. My '16 vert doesn't have that but my '19 coupe does. Do the verts not have that at all or just some model years? I'd like to get one if they're available.

I don't think it was ever in a C7 convertible. Since the convertible hatch is smaller, it does not go as high as the one on the coupe when it is opened. So even a 5ft person can reach the top to pull it down for closing. I don't have a convertible, but I have not seen a hatch pull down handle on the convertible hatch. You may have to look at something custom or aftermarket.

I've never looked inside at a convert deck-lid, but I'm sure something could be fabricated.

All that is necessary is to grab onto the u bolt that goes into the lock. Very easy and priceless. Very
