flat bottom wheel

how does the cf panel with the z06 logo on the bottom center of the z06 steering wheel come off i want to paint it

IMO The wheel that came stock on my 2019 GS is fine. No need to spend a 1000 bucks I don't have for the same wheel.

it is just snapped into position with a few angled pins. but to get it off you are going to need to remove the steering wheel spoke bezel to be able to get that trim piece off.

i have a 15 stingray with a round, leather wheel,....... i want suede, flat bottom, and not to advertise it as a z06, prices new 400-500............ so your statement on my thread makes no sense.

if you are getting a new wheel then it is easy to get that lower trim piece off, just lift off the spoke cover, if it comes with one already on it, and pop the trim piece off.

thanx bud thats all i was asking. just picked up a 15 and seems like most of the car is snap together

If you're going to paint it, sell it or trade it for one of the plain plastic pieces instead.

It's also possible to take the Z06 emblem off. It's kind of a pain, but it looks really nice when it's done. I did it for the wheel I put on my 2014 Z51.
