I have a '19 Z51. Started the car last week and heard the dreaded "bing". CEL. Took it to Ciocca in Princeton. They kept the car for four days. Ran every test. Nothing was wrong, the car ran normally. They turned the CEL off. When I got home I had a hunch and did not connect the GM battery tender. Since then no tender connected and no CEL. The tender triggered the CEL. First time this happened to me in over a decade of using a tender when not driving. Any similar experiences?
Simply a coincidence. By far and away the more likely explanation. C7s are known to have electronic glitches, as with many if not most "puterized vehicles. Research is clear that humans are over equipped to "see" relationships where nothing but coincidence exists. Drive on!

I have used the GM battery tender every day since I bought my car in November 2018. Never had a CEL set by using the tender. Perhaps as mentioned something is wrong with the tender.
