I found a huge mouse nest in the area to the left of the cabin air filter (looking into it from the front) on this 2014 Corvette. Is there any way to get into the red area? It's very deep and there's only so much I can get through the cabin air filter opening.
EDIT: I'm not sure there should be an opening to the left of the air filter. The wall may have been chewed open by the mice and cavity turned into a hotel.
Uugghh. Can’t help on your question but no opening on the the left on my ‘17 Z06. Only a “fiber cloth’ish” cover. Appears to be eaten away in your pic.

Good luck getting the remnants of the mouse nest out of that area. Not much room to work in there - not sure if accessing the area from under the dash (requiring a lot of disassembly, would get better results.
