Hello everyone, today i made a switch from bmw to corvette, i got it used. 2017 LT1 with 18k miles. I have one question/problem. When I put the car in track/sport mode exhaust sound doesnt change at all. i even tried it from settings, engine sound management and still no luck. Exhaust has no valves from the back when I try to look inside. What’s the issue and how can I solve this to make it loud?

Do the tips look like this? If so you have the NPP ehxhaust.
like I said im still new to this and ive been reading a lot, I guess mine isnt NPP, but im still confused why do I have all these options in the engine sound management. If I buy this Is it gonna work just fine ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/38491463163...0AAOSwbl5ike9Z
If more noise is what you want, why not simply take it to a good exhaust/muffler shop and have them fab a couple straight pipes to replace the mufflers and be done with it? Just sayin'... And, welcome to the Forum!
It sounds like you have a base Stingray that didn't come with NPP Exhaust. There is no easy way to back-fit the NPP exhaust to a non NPP car. You more than likely have the base suspension without Magnetic Ride Control and you more than likely don't have the dry sump oil system.

Look for the RPO code sticker. I think it is located near the battery (back right trunk). On mine, pictured you can see I have NPP. If you have NPP, maybe you have NPP set specifically and not what the overall mode of your car is set to.

Sounds like you don't have the NPP exhaust. The NPP exhaust has flappers on the outer tail pipes that are only about 6" in. When these open, they are just about straight. I believe the tail pipes themselves also differ between NPP and non NPP. The NPP pipes are flared, the non NPP are just straight round.
If you have non NPP, only way to tune the sound is to change exhaust system.
