Hey everyone,
So my AC wouldn't vent anywhere except the floor. Took it in and they determined it was the AC actuator and thankfully it was covered by extended warranty, would of been $1800
But the dealer said they had to preform a AC controller update in order to get it all working correctly. They charged $199 for that. In the big picture $199 is not the end of the world, but since the part was covered, I thought the whole cost should of been covered.
So for anyone who might know, is this is a legit charge from the dealer? Appreciate any info.
Thank you

I would think that if the repair wouldn't work without the update, it should be covered. But warranty companies tend to try and save where they can. See if your dealer's service manager will argue the point for you or just do it yourself with the warranty company. Nothing to lose at this point.
