I got around to instal one of my Christmas gifts, the ACS Rear Quarter Extensions. They look great but made my rock guards look crappy. I have the GM rear extended and the original ACS front rock Guards, both sets textured. Tuesday I got to work on them. Sanding ACS not too bad, the GM texture was very hard to get decent for paint. I spent more time masking them than painting them. I will probably get the ACS XL's someday, but this will do for now.. I componded them, but can't wax them for a month.. next I will tackle installing the painted front fender extensions. I did notice today quite a lot of debris on the rear extensions.. I might have to put a strip of PPF on them I posted a few general pics of my little 2 days of fun...
Good job
Them Blah back to Bling guards was the missing link between painted Spats and Skirts.
I did the same.No PPF.Plenty of clear coats.PIA to sand them GM Shorty guards.
Not many people notice the Blah, but us owners do Masking wasn't a issue really cause it gets hidden in the fender. The otherside well,is the road side. Unless you wanted that clean ending of paint?
Dam that Jake wasn't straight
IK IK... haven't been able to find a full set from one place, maybe this year I can or I will have to go with a different tire I will do the spats next, your right seems only Corvette people notice little things like that.
