If it was equipped with an A8 and built prior to February 1st, 2019, it needs the Triple Flush. Cars built on and after Feb 1st, have the new transmission fluid.
It's definitely built after February. I'll confirm it. Thanks
Thanks for all the help with the knowledge!! This forum has been a fantastic source of great information. I bought the car yesterday. I got it for $62,300.
Okay all. I'm looking hard at a '19 3LT Artic white and gray with sueded inserts for the seats. Under 5k miles. One owner. It has an automatic. No Z51.
It's ready to go at $63900.
What if any problems on the last year model of the C7 should I look for?
Here is the TSB on the transmission issue. And importantly, If the build date of the transmission is February 2019 or later you have the correct fluid. Not the build date of the car on the drivers door jamb. The build date of the transmission. Not the car.
Please see the attached TSB
You can also send email with Vin to socialmedia@gm.com
They will send a PDF Build Sheet that has build date and all the RPO Codes for equipment and options in your model.
As stated before, they stopped doing this late last year.
