Default Front clip fit inside?

This may be a stupid question but I am buying a C7 Z06 and having it shipped to me the car comes with a second front clip do you think the front clip will fit inside the car for shipping?

Are you talking about a front lip, or an entire front end assembly? A lip should fit fine. A whole front clip? Pretty unlikely. At least not without damaging something.

^ This. If you are talking about the entire front fascia, that would most likely be a no on it fitting inside the car.

OK, final question. Coupe or Convertible?

Actually, I'm sliding over to the not fitting inside of the car either way. That's a lot of stuff.

I’ve got a 20ft enclosed to go get it if I have to. Just hoping shipping would work.

No, unless you leave hatch up and hang partially inside and outside of C7.
I wouldn't risk the damage this will most likely cause to both C7 interior / exterior and the extra front clip bumping around inside an enclosed currier. Seems crazy to try.

if it was wrapped in plastic and slid between the seats I bet it would fit. load the car then open the hatch and slide it in. plastic wrap keeps it from poking any holes in the fabric

Of course it will work, hell you could tie the thing onto you hood, it all depends on the extent of damage you are willing to accept. Good luck!

I took some measurements. With all the bulk with that front end part it's not even close in my opinion. From the end of the shift **** to the back of the car it's still sticking out the rear even if it was a nice thin front end. Just too bulky. I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out a way, unless I'm totally stupid, it was a no go.

lol. Hey man I appreciate the effort!! I guess I’ll have to look in to shipping it separately.

Even pretending it might fit (and I don't think it would), who in their right mind would want some schmuck trying to get it in "your" car for the trip... that not to mention it rattling around the entire time/distance!

A front "clip" would mean the bumper/fenders/hood to me, the pic shows a bumper cover but even that I would say no
