If your set on it, maybe bring a decent code scanner to see it's error history as well... I hope it works out, but if your instincts are to run away then do so.. plenty of other rides out there. Good Luck
Pretty vague, as I have read it what did you find interesting?
Car fax shows value at 75.1 K, ask price 65.9K, if its to good to be true? 4 owners, 1 repo, 1 sale at auction less than a week after repo, new keys, do both FOBS work? Damage report, tires replaced with what? 2 different oil changes at 19k, none in 1st 12k, maybe done by self or shop that does not report to car fax
True 360 report says quarter needs refinishing with pic, rear bumper refinished
Car is 1LZ, no PDR, no NAV, Ad says upgraded Bose what is that, 750 HP ? questions about tune and cats and header install, other fish in the sea
The Lt4 is fine with 750 hp. I would be concerned buying a modded car especially without knowing the real history and I would need a very competent performance shop to give it a thorough check. Personally i would not consider this car. One of the reasons I like to buy new is that you know what you are getting although that is not possible now. Having said that take your time and you will find what you want, there are good cars out there.
I'm guessing they're talking about crank hp, not rwhp. 750 crank hp would be 635-640 rwhp which is inline for those mods. The question I would have is which cats did they install? If they put OEM cats on there, that's a BIG no thanks because those are meant to be in the downpipes between the OEM manifolds and the X-pipe. As shown above, the high flow cats sold with LTHs go past the collector in the X-pipe section. If they bought the high flow cats from the maker of the headers and welded them in properly then that would be fine. You don't have to retune just for cat install either so I'd be curious who did the tune and how much power it put down. It's not a bad idea to have the A/F checked on a dyno after the cats are installed, which I did going from TSP catted to kooks un-catted LTHs, but on my car there was no tune change needed. You still have to leave the rear O2s off via tune because the cats are in a different place. I would definitely ask for documentation and talk with the shop who did that work for them. If they had one of their techs do it I'd walk away, honestly. One benefit to you would be less exhaust smell with cats though.
All they really had to do if they wanted to add cats was to order a catted x-pipe section from the original LTH manufacturer. Much easier to replace that X-pipe than try to weld cats in the right spot where the LTH manufacturer meant for them to go.
All of those mods would make me nervous about how he drove it.
Most who buy a Zo6 buy it for the power and they like to use it. It is hard not to. There is a difference between using and abusing but I am sure many get abused and if the car is modified it means that owner wanted more power to drive it even harder. I would not buy a car like that. I have also seen a few Zo6 cars that had been heavily modified and driven hard then returned to stock condition to be sold to some poor unsuspecting buyer.

I doubt they ran the crap out of the car. It is hard to do that with an LT4 because the vast majority of drivers crap their pants before the RPMs and speed get into the Oh My God range even with a stock car. Most people that add power to their cars never really push them to the newer limit due to lifting off the throttle because of a subconscious mindset. I have instructed many C7 Z drivers at the track and haven't ridden with one that hasn't needed to be coaxed to keep their foot on the throttle on the longer straights. At redline in 3rd gear, the car is hitting 123 mph and at redline in 4th gear, it is at 152 mph and it gets to those speeds damned fast.
The big issue with mods is are they done correctly. That is why modded cars have a lower price. I have known a number of owners of modded cars and some of them have been very sorry they spent the money on the mods.
