Default Key fob programing.

So my new to me 2016 C-7 came with only one key. I have one coming from Chevrolet. I realize that I need the dealer to program the new key. Can the dealer set up the keys for fob #1 and #2? As I understand the manual, the car will only recognize a #1 and #2 fob for seat and control memories. Thanks dr.k.

You can do it yourself. All you need is the correct FOB with the CORRECT part number.

Follow the directions in this link for the "Long Program". Whichever FOB you insert 1st during the process will be #1, the 2nd will be #2.
