May have found her
I have been looking for a C-7 for some months now and I think I have found one I like. Its a 2016 stingray, white 2lt preferred group package. The price is $51990 with 18524 miles. Just wondering if anyone have purchased one through Carvana and what kind of experience they encountered. They don't have the pictures posted yet but they have the description posted. They said it have performance exhaust which I know I will like.

I purchased a 2017 C7 GS from Carvana last month. Overall it was a positive experience. You get a chance to inspect the vehicle and test drive it before signing for it. Then get 7 days and up to 400 miles to drive it, if something's not right or your not happy, you can return it. I was hesitant buying a car without seeing it first hand but getting 7 days to look it over and drive it helped take that apprehension away. They also deliver the car to you, usually. My car was too low to fit on a truck so I had to drive to their closest facility. Fortunately it was only a short distance from me.
I bought a 2017 2LT back in February 2022 from Vroom. From what I've read about them and Carvana, late delivery of title & registration documents is a common issue.
That issue was becoming a reality for me as I hadn't received my documents 3 weeks after the temporary tags had expired.
Realizing that no progress was possible via the customer service rep, I contacted the Vroom CEO on LinkedIn and connected with the company on Twitter. Believe these actions accelerated resolution, as the registration docs came shortly after.
Lesson learned? When dealing with the Carvana or any other online dealer rep during the initial process, document via email their commitments on title/document delivery time and ask if you can follow up using social media should there be delays (which the rep or dealer would like to avoid). Exert pre-emptive measures right from that start to improve your chances of avoiding the document delays.

Glad to see that things went well. Just waiting for the next move for me. My son-in-law does repair and preparation for Carvana cars in Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa and Savannah. I will try to arrange for my car to come through the shop he works at. This will give me a good chance to really check it out. He bought a 2017 GS grey in color for a little over $60000. I drove it yesterday and was very surprise on how good it drove and how comfortable it rode. I had a 2005 before great Vette but the ride was nothing like the GS. This is a picture of his GS.

Just curious if anyone bought a warranty for their car. With this 2016 that I am planning to buy the manufacture warranty has expired. Which one would you recommend . With the issues I read about with the collapse valve it's better to be safe than sorry.

I bought my 16 from a chevy dealer in Feb. of 2022. I got a 3 year 36 thousand mile warranty thru my chevy dealer.
I bought my 2014 z51, 3lt with chrome wheels, npp, carbon fiber and painted mirrors and spoiler. On delivery the clear roof panel had been damaged in transit on the drivers side panel and I noted the dash was bubbling. Carvana provides a 3 month warranty.
They paid for a new top and to have the dash replaced. Cost them about $4,000. Then the homelink stopped working and there was a tear in a piece of weatherstrip. That got fixed for another $1,000.
it was a bit of a nuisance for 3 months but everything got fixed without costing me a cent. My docs got delivered promptly. I used their financing as their rates were lowest. And I have 825 credit. Their price was good especially for a car with 11,500 miles.
I would have no problem using carvana again.
In my opinion get a second inspection. Also yes get any warranty you can but research it for value and deductibles. If you are looking to make profit on this car if you resell forget it. Corvette a fun car not a piece of GOLD! A plus is Car Max and the rest pick up cars that a owner can not finance for most people do not have $50.000 in cash. So there is a lot of benefits buying from a company that can warranty beyond the factory. Good Luck!

Thanks for all the help and range of knowledge you all have provided. I am close to making that purchase. I got the pictures this afternoon on the car and I have the link here if you would like to view it and provide some feed back https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/2400881 I love the Performance data/ video recorder and the Performance exhaust option that comes with the vehicle. Well every thing seem to be on track until I saw it is a 7 speed manual. I have had several manual cars before BMWs and the shifting was great. My 2006 is still gunning and the Trans still shift great. So I need all the feed back on owning a manual Vette. Are there any big drawback vs the 8 speed auto. I have 48 hours to make the decision. I like the sound of a manual when you pull up in the parking lot and you race engine people start looking around. I'm a old school guy.
If the numbers work go for it. I found my new ride at a wholesale place in NJ. She needed a bit of TLC...
(Some touch up on the rockers due to rock chips, new splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser kit, Stage 2.5 rear fins, and Oracle blacked out side markers)
But in the end after a Ceramic Coat bath I'm really happy with the old girl. And don't mind my Dad in the background...he still doesn't understand. LOL
