Default Soler TC and launch control

I put my Soler TC in sport 5 and took off from a light with a little "punch " of the throttle . Dang tires started spinning and car started to go sideways more than normal ! Never happened like that before !!
So my question , has anyone done launch control with your TC set to sport 5 or 6 ? I would think it would get really scrary, really fast !!

I'd think the opposite. The Soler TC does nothing more than adjust throttle response. Launch Control is designed to get you off the line with minimal power lost to wheel spin, so the car should have better "manners" (for your stated use case) with LC than without it.

Seems to be a common misunderstanding - correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that these modules recalibrate the throttle sensor to trick the computer into thinking that there's, for example, 20% throttle compression when there may only be actually 5-10%. So in theory, you're just not having to press the throttle pedal as much to get the same result that you would if you were to just press the throttle more during your launch.

As the others have mentioned, if you're tires start losing traction at 60% throttle; the traction control system is going to pull back power to regain grip as quickly as possible. With this commander module, it may just be more sensitive and would end up either performing the same or having to work harder to keep traction earlier.

Now, when you're actually using "launch control mode" - it's required to use 100% throttle in order to launch properly. The car itself is going to behave the exact same with the launch with or without the module in this sense because it's fully compressed.

NOTE FOR MANUAL C7s: The most important part of using launch control IMO is that you never lift the throttle from 100% if you're going to upshift and roll through your gears while using launch control. As soon as you remove 100% throttle in competitive/launch control mode, all your traction systems turn off and this is where most people wreck their cars. They accidently lift the throttle and forget that it turns off traction control and they'll spin out (sometimes into trees <see video> )

You can use 100% throttle and no lift shift and all systems will stay on throughout the whole dig... but if you hesitate and lift the throttle.. good luck and god speed.

Were you actually using launch control or were you launching the car aggressively from a stop. If you were doing the later, yes, you are going to have wheel spin, especially if you have your TC off. If you were launching the car properly using launch control, then you should not have any issues. The only time you will have issues with launch control is when you do as ChodaBoy said.

Yap. That is going to get your attention. Tone down the Solar TC until your right foot gets used to it. Go up one notch at a time. Also, it is a good habit to always roll on to the throttle if you are not using the actual launch control.
