So I noticed on my C7 Z06, just over 12k on it, I had road rash behind the driver’s door, just below the gas door. Also on the passenger side, same area. I tried Dr. Color chip. Because my Z is Long Beach read metallic I thought for sure it wouldn’t be a perfect match. I followed the directions to a T. I was amazed at how it turned out. I included a couple pics. I did take it to a shop and they said they couldn’t do anything with it except repaint the panel. This kit cost me $60. Before After
Hum, I guess it depends on the color as to how close Dr Color Chip matches as I tried it on my 2018 Tacoma (Silver Sky Metallic) and the Dr Color Chip wasn't even close.
In fact, my Blade Silver touchup paint from GM matched the silver sky metallic MUCH closer. I won't try it again as it cost too much for rolling the dice for a match.
Common problem on the C7. My GS comes with the side skirts and fender lips but I still got sand blasted in the same area from road debris kicked up by the tires. Here's what I did to eliminate the problem. Had Expel install to cover that area and replaced the factory fender lips with the ACS Composite XL fender lips and XL rock guards. Expensive way of doing it but no more issues.

I have the same exact car with the same issue. Even have 3 spots on the front. I'm going to get it painted and follow up with protective flim by my detailer. Do it once, do it right. But yours came out pretty impressive for a touch up job. Very nice.
