Default Drip, Sizzle!

Hey all,
quick question about my 2017 GSCE. I’ve noticed the last couple times of driving, not even hard driving, very normal…that when I pull into the garage and get out, I hear a very clear drip and sizzle sound. Nothing hitting the garage floor at all. Sounds like the drip is hitting metal and then sizzling. This is my first Vette and am just curious if this is normal or should I be concerned? I just purchased the car a few weeks ago. It is CPO as well.

Thank you for any opinions and advice.

I would have checked out by a shop. If don't know how to work on AC you cause more problems than you all ready have. and if you get air in the it look out. auto AC is high pressure stuff.

Absolutely normal. The A/C condensate drain is above the right exhaust pipe.

Don't worry about it.

Yes, just another post to say it's normal. I was wondering the same when I first bought my car and pulled it into the garage after a drive.

I like that it drips on the hot exhaust.

Keeps water puddles and stains off the concrete.

Totally Normal. It does blow my mind they could not have just put the drain hole a little to the left or right to miss the exhaust pipe.

+1 for A/C drain line that drops condensation onto the passenger side exhaust tube. GM Marketing wanted to charge $177 for this as an option package called "Rapid Exhaust Cooling System." Seriously though, Fuhgeddaboudit.

It's a thing on any vehicle where the AC condensation line runs over the hot exhaust.
