OEM AC Delco batteries have been the most reliable in my experience for all my GM cars.
Over the last 25 years they've all lasted at least 5-6 years before being replaced.
Yep, a proper new Delco battery such as the below should last you 6-7+ years. I sold Delco batteries in my auto parts stores for 16 years and they are excellent batteries.
Diehard Platinum batteries have been the most reliable in my experience for all my cars & HD diesel trucks.
Over the last 45 years they've all lasted at least 7 to 8 and MORE years before being replaced.👍
It's the same price as that Chevy dealer battery that isn't near as good or powerful..

Actually Joe; NO:
Delco 48GNR (depicted above)
75 AH / 770 CCA / 130 min Reserve Capacity
Die-Hard H6-AGMGroup 48 Platinum AGM 70 AH / 760 CCA / 120 min Reserve Capacity
I went with the Diehard as it is much easier to remove and to install.as they have handles so you can lift it out of the cavity if necessary. If you do it be sure to remove the small plug on the left side and the connection on the right and replace in your new battery as there is a small vent hose that attaches to vent fumes outside. If you do not reattach the vent you will get corrosion.
Personally, one of my last considerations when purchasing a new battery for one of my vehicles is whether it has a handle or not. Most important is getting a battery that's going to best serve you over a long period of time at a reasonable price.
I realize the C7 isn't the easiest vehicle to remove/install a battery, however there's any number of battery straps/clamps made to remove/install batteries, most for under $10. I have like (3) different styles. Or just have your Chevy dealer supply and install one which typically runs $250>$300.
