Well three auto upholstery shops said they wouldn’t touch my dash for any kind of repair so looks like I’ll have to replace it, unless someone has had any work done in the SF Bay Area. If not, does anyone sell just the dash? Rather not have the dealership do it. Haven’t had any luck looking up part numbers.

They might touch it if you removed the dash and brought it to them Vs having them remove the dash or the windshield.
Here are the part numbers for panels that may be in GM Inventory:

The dash listed as “with premium trim”….
Does that mean 3LT trim level? I have a 3LT and I’m leaning toward replacing mine with the 2LT as long as the texture/look is the same as the leather.
^^^
They are not the exact same but very close. Napa is smooth, Mulan has some texture. Unless you are trying to see the difference I dont think its noticeable.

Steve, do a search as recently some great 2lt vs 3lt pictures were posted side by side. There is a noticeable difference depending how picky you are (I am that picky). Also you have to check with your dealer as mine said they order based on your vin and would not substitute a 2lt when the car calls for a 3lt. I was getting the 3lt anyway (GSCE) but I couldn't be happier, I love the new dash. Price was workable and GM paid some so I'm very happy.

Thanks! Do you know if your new dash is the "improved" version that they used staples to prevent the leather from lifting from the vent, etc?

the redesigned dash has more dash material underneath with more staples and different glue. My dash was replaced by dealer 2019 stingray. See The Corvette Mechanic on Facebook.

You wouldn’t happen to have a link to that specific post would you? I just scrolled through hundreds of videos looking for a post on the dashboard.

Im in the market for my first vette. In fact a 2014 A6 2lt got sold out from under me yesterday. Therefore I'm back in the hunt but between reading about all the A8 issues and 3lt dash issues Ive been leery of the 2015-16s, especially 3lt’s. Since I reside in the Texas heat, how prevalent is the dash de-lamination? Is it just the matching color trim pc over the gages or the whole dash? I guess Im curious why it seems so difficult to repair. Thanks in advance for the education.

the difficulty lies in the removal of the entire dash to repair our replace. or if the dash lift is in the right place the windshield can be removed and the dash stretched and reglued
