Yeah, there are those who use it and those who don't. Mostly owners who drive their C7 daily are more likely to use it because it is very convenient and the driver's small item storage is limited in the C7. (I know for a fact that some drivers keep a small handgun in there.) But they use it for other purposes too like holding glasses, wallet, keys, etc.
It's a real shame that some drivers are afraid to use it. Maybe they're just keeping their car pristine for the next owner...
The storage bin, the hud and magnetic ride are three things I have never used in my 2019 GS. From the day I took her home brand new to today each function was used once on the ride home to make sure they worked, never touched them since. Car was set to touring, steering and exaust set to track. It is not a daily driver thou.
Basically, use mine for my sunglasses and small bottle of eyeglass cleaner and wipes. On long trips I'll add a small bottle of liquid tears for those long days on the highway.
