Hello all, hope you don't mind me asking a quick question. My friend just came back from Carlisle with a used hood liner for his C5. All in all it is in pretty decent shape except for being dirty. What is the best way to clean it up without doing any damage.
Thank you in advance from him !
Rich
If you do mean C5, this thread should be transferred over to the C5 General section.
OOOPPs I just assumed that the process would be just about the same for most of the hood liners. I do have a C7 and this is the C7 Forum and he has a C5.
So now that we have that out of the way
Thanks and sorry at the same time !
Rich
I've changed and cleaned 3 of them and the easiest way is to use your shop vac with the brush attachment. I've done this on my c-5, c-6 and more recently on my c-7.

Dave,
Thank you, he will be over later to do just that. After we vacuum it there is a spray that we found at Auto Zone , black spray dye.
