I have my motor out and getting ready to crate it and freight it to a builder. Anyone have any recommendations or hook ups of freight? Anyone have any crating advise?

See if the local dealership (or speed shop) has a discarded shipping crate for a replacement engine laying out back behind the shop, then see if you can swap a couple of boxes of doughnuts for it. Worked for me...

used pallet a sheet of 3/4" plywood and a skill saw ,some common angle brackets. star the motor to the pallet ( I used some old screw in anchor eyelets I had) and use the plywood to build a crate around the plywood. took less than a couple hrs. most ltl companies will ship it across country for under 500$
