Borla Extreams
Back from Carlisle today. A few of us got new exhausts out there. 2 C8's and my 2019GS. I got borla extremes shipped to me and 1 guy had his c8 done there. The other guy got AWE exhausts done there as well. The guy with the Borla pipes noticed a loud ticking noise that developed after install. It started shortly after leaving Carlisle. Long story short he turned around after about 100 miles and went back to Carlisle. As it turned out they told him he needed to have his NPP valves reflashed to accommodate the new exhaust. They gave him a bulletin to give to Chevy when he got home which he'll get done. They told him if it didn't work they'd send him a new exhaust and they'd pay for shipping and install.. My concern is that I will have to get the same thing done when I install mine when they get here. Has anybody ever ran into this? I have B&B fusions on there now and never had this issue.Any thoughts on this? You would have thought the Borla rep might have said something at time of purchase. Any info will be appreciated, thanks guys.
