Default Stiff linkage

Hello, again bought a 2016 Stingray this spring and the linkage seems stiff or sluggish compared to other Vette's I've owned, defiantly no speed shifting. Is this typical or is an adjustment needed ?

Thanks,

Mike

Usually it is stiffer when cold so a more common problem a little later in the year. But on my 2019 I did the trans fluid change to this;

I also did the TSB on shifter adjustment. PI1276A
And I now have 24000 miles on it and the shifter is a delight.

My '18 is perfectly fine, original fluid. I changed fluid in my C5 when I got it and couldn't tell any difference. But, it can't hurt anything to try in your C7.

Btw, I'm assuming yours is still OEM and nothing has been swapped or modified, correct? Some who have installed aftermarket shifters have not always done so correctly and had issues. All the best.
