The removable top on my 2014 Z51 c7 makes a annoying rubbing noise when i go over bumps. Seems to be coming some where near the mid front area. Anyone else have the problem?

I have the same year vette also Z-51 and I really think the squeaking is coming from the insulation inside the removable top and pushing on the covering sounds like bubble wrap !!!!! I have thought of taking the top to an interior shop and replacing it with something else !!!
I had this problem on my 2014. I tried all the lubricant and grease solutions nothing worked. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the strikers and pins. This solved the problem but cost around $500.
I solved the top squeaking by cleaning the rubber seal and applying three coats of 303 Rubber Seal Protectant per the video below.
I found the silicone goo to be difficult to work with as it gets on places it wasn't intended to as it goes on "wet", while the 303 dries before installation. With the grease, accurately seating the top on the first attempt was not consitently possible, leaving smears of silicone behind…
I redo the process every six months and have been squeak free for nearly three years https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...e?ie=UTF8&th=1
