TPMS/battery question

Worst case scenario you take the gamble and a TPMS sensor dies before your tires wear out. You buy a new sensor, and pay for a dismount+remount of your tire -- so like $70.

Only the bead needs to be broken on the TPMS side of the tire and the sensor can be replaced.
If they mark the tire, you won't even need a re-balance.
Had a sensor on a 2014 I owned replaced by the dealer years ago.

Last September, I had 3 TPMS sensors play up during a long-distance drive. I do not have LED side marker lights installed. The guidance from members here was to replace all 4. One member offered a well-known eBay vendor as a reasonably-priced sensor source. My local dealer did the install.
Fast forward 15 months and 5000 miles, and my two front sensors dropped out during a drive this afternoon. Before I spend the money to replace them again, I’m compelled to ask: If typical sensors should last a decade or so, is there any other cause to which I might attribute this most recent failure?
Thanks in advance!
Last year I purchased four new TPMS sensors from Rock Auto for a second set of C7 wheels; except, they were ACDELCO OEM, #13598775. So when I dropped them off at the local Discount Tire store with the wheels, I learned quickly that the ACDELCO EOM sensors were not shipped with the stem seal locking nuts. Discount Tire to the rescue, they had stem seal locknuts that would fit and seal properly.
When I ordered the TPMS sensors from Rock Auto, I foolishly did not notice that the OEM sensors did not come with stem seal lock nuts. Later I learned the stem seal lock nuts are not available from Rock Auto, still to this day, and at the time they were not available from GM either!!
Good advice from @RacerRik, the SCHRADER TPMS sensors from Rock Auto should work just fine and the batteries should provide a long service life. Yes, they come complete with the stem seal lock nuts.
