Unexpected Unexplained Engine Revving

Never had this happen on my 2019 A8. I always let it warm up for at least 3-4 minutes before backing out of the garage though. That is bizarre. I wonder if backing out too soon interrupts the fast idle/warm up sequence.

yeah, that’s my though on it. It runs a little rich and high on cold start so it’s probably touchy for those first 15 seconds or so.
