Many have. Ive seen some write-ups here. I removed some badges. A liitle heat to pull off and goo gone to get the adhesive off. It takes some elbow grease.
Fishing line to remove the original, use like a saw. Braided line works best. Then just remove left over adhesive with WD40 and fingers. Might tape off area around badge with frog tape. Good luck!
I did mine and it was fairly simple. Fishing line or dental floss for sure. Put masking tape a the bottom
of the emblems (stingray, corvette words) to line them up the same.

You can use a mild mineral spirits as well, using a syringe to get it under badge before you begin, only hair dryer not heat gun. Tape off area (just in case) and be patient as stated above. Stay away from strong solvents like acetone
Easy peasy....fishing line or dental floss to remove (a little easier if you let it sit in the sun or use heat gun) A rag and then some alcohol to remove remaining glue. I used my fingernail to help scrape off the stubborn glue. Then just peel and stick! I went with the black emblems.
On the subject...been on the hunt for these for a C7 (see pic). Southercarpart, Ecklers, and RPI all show as discontinued. Anyone know where I can get my hand on a set? Would prefer new badges, but inlays would work. Did see another American Flag option out there, but it is not near as sharp looking.
You now know more than you'll ever need to remove your old emblems. Leave them off except for the main front and rear (because they fit into indentations.) All the best.
