I have not seen this in any of the prior threads. I have a Range device. It works great. Took it out in advance of a smog check in a few days. Not that I'm complaining, but the AFM does not seem to be functioning. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Thanks.

I maybe wrong, but, the oily thing I can remember recently was in this thread.
It is rare but these do fail from time to time. I had one crap out and freaked out the car's computer system! I got all sorts of errors and it went into limp mode. Luckily once I took it out, all I had to do is clear all the error codes and the car was fine. The funny thing, Range sent me a replacement and that didn't work! After plugging it in the car wouldn't start! So they sent me another one which was fine. The one currently in my new (to me) Grand Sport has been fine. Like I said, it's rare that these fail, but it can happen.
Apparently, the AFM is still working. On a recent drive, I was scrolling through info screens (Touring Mode & Display) and on the screen that displays current range and current fuel economy I noticed the green "V4" icon was displayed (I was on the freeway). I have not checked the other displays (i.e. Sport, Economy, Track). Not sure why it is different now than when I purchased the vehicle.
