I recently had Kooks LTH and mid-pipe installed on '17 GS. I have taken it back to shop twice concerned about all the underbody rattling. Twice they have told me everything is in still in original place and plenty of room around them. They mentioned doing a weld if they needed to, but they didn't do that. Please advise. Thanks.
Welding is not going to help , something obviously is touching something that it should not be .
Many have Kooks and have no issues
I have Hooker headers and my high flow cats were contacting the trans tunnel plate requiring spacers to provide clearance
i would start with having them remove the plate to see if that stops the rattle
if not I would check the over the axle pipes as they are real close if you have an Auto

I am betting its one or the other

Ok great. It is coming from right underneath my feet so I see what mean about the cats. Much appreciated.

It rattles at appx. 25-55 mph over bumps. I kept the NPP.
