Driving in snow is fun providing you are alone on the road. Dodging SUVs spinning around and sliding every which way is less than fun it's more a life challange!
Enjoy your snow driving. Try not to bend something up on the car!
I live in RI and my C7 is my only car, I have a set of winter wheels that have Blizzak tires. I also ride a motorcycle and this influences how I drive. Basically always pretend no one can see you, and anytime you stop, look in your rear view to see if the person behind you is not stopping or is sliding. Always have a exit. Leave tons of space around you. After 3 years of this, zero issues, zero close calls, zero problems of any kind, all the way down to sub zero temps after ice storms.
My snow tire/rims match my summer setup.
Actually hard to get it to spin with it in weather mode and winter setup, unless I am trying. Drives just as confidently as my sister's outback when putting around town running errands.

Same deal here. MN native and motorcycle rider. I've had a Miata of some sort in the garage since 2005 as well, so driving invisibly is definitely engrained.
As an aside, the Miata is still the best winter car I've driven.

Have driven Vettes in the snow before - can be done but certainly not one of my favorite vehicles to be in when the roads are not the best. Stay safe out there if you do take the car out when snow is on the ground.
I don't find the front of the vette to be THAT much lower than other cars. It does have a good size overhang, but for driving over snow... It is not far off from a compact car like a Civic or something.
That being said after 3 years of winters I have to rush out to try to drive on snow here in RI.
I live 10min from the beach and I think that keeps the air warmer so accumulation is minimal usually and the state is fantastic about plowing my area.
I have driven over a dusting at most in 3 years.
It probably also helps that I am a mechanical engineer so I can do my work from home if the weather sucks.
I had to drive two Camaros in the snow when I lived in Chicago. With Blizzaks it wasn't that bad, but I had some close calls taking out walls and spinning out.
