Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in Tech/Performance... but I'm really interested in seeing and hearing about anyone with a GS/Z running a 20/21 wheel setup instead of the 19/20.
There are three things I'm hoping to achieve;
Better wheel well fitment - filling out the opening better (as I can't really lower the car...)
Fixing the factory offset - I want the wheels flush with the fender edge (but not sticking out)
Getting better rims on so I don't have to wince every single time I hit an expansion joint or minor blemish in the roadway (I've already replaced both rear rims and changed over to non-run flats)
Since you ask... twice... apart from what your specific questions addresses, the last thing needed on most roads is even less sidewall height. Just sayin'... All the best in any event.
(p.s. imho, quality fully-forged aftermarket wheels should be considered part of the price of admission for any wide-body C7)
Not my car but it looks awesome. He said he has no problems with the computer or the speedometer acting up. These are the size tires he has on them 285 30 R20 325 25 R21. There Vossen HF5 wheels.

OP: if you have Instagram, check out 1cleanc7. He has the same Vossen wheels pictured above in the 20/21 setup. I too have the same wheels pictured above but in the regular 19/20 setup so I can't answer your questions.

It doesn't look like there is much rubber between the road and the rims ! Just sayin', It does look good though !!

It does look like a very short sidewall, but the spec provided says 325/25/21 and given the sidewall specification is an aspect ratio of the width the sidewall should actually be just a tiny bit shorter than the standard 335/25/21 (81.25mm vs 83.75mm) on the GS/Zs, right? Of course it could be the tires too... There isn't a 335/25/21 available at TireRack but there is a 345/25/21 - might be a better alternative. I'd expect the 345 would still look good on a 12" rim...
Here is my 2014 Stingray 3LT Z51 and the wheels are 20x9.5 in the Fronts with 275-30-20 and the rears are 21x12 with 323-25-21 and it has been lowered on stock bolts

I just bout some rims with this same dimensions. Do you know what offset the rears are? Tire shops are recommending a323 but I have 305’s and they rub on stock z51 rims.
