Without experience you may want to think twice about DIY. Check out hydro dipping. Did it on C5 with carbon look. Cabin too.

I DIY'd my fuel rail covers. Was pretty easy, as long as you take your time. Prep is key as with anything paint related.

I also bought a new plenum cover to paint black so I can save the autographed engine builder tag on the stock one.
