tow hook
a friend bought himself new fancy-assed tow hooks for his 2017 Z06.
He was going to give my his OEM tow hook, then stated,
"i don't think mine will fit your older 2014"
anyone have any thoughts on this?

I believe that you have to have the Z51 package for the "hook ups". If you have that, you're good to go.

The base 2014 does not have the receivers for tow hooks on the car - at least mine does not. Mine was an early 2014 so not sure if they were added as the model year progressed or not.
