I put a NAPA battery in my 2017 Stingray and the height is shorter than the OEM battery. I had to put a small block of wood under the battery bracket that goes across the top of the battery to assure a secure fit. If I had it to do over, I would have gotten an OEM style battery.
The OEM battery is the most popular. Primarily because most C7's are still using the original battery. Ask again in 5 more years to get better results for the question.
Agreed...our long term indie mechanics swear by Delco batteries for all auto brands, so that's all we've used for many years C3, C5 and now C7...and all other vehicles we've owned.
DieHard Platinum AGM Battery: H6 Group Size, 760 CCA, 950 CA
Mine is 5 years old so I will replace it next spring with a DieHard Platinum AGM Battery: H6 Group Size, 760 CCA, 950 CA, sold at Advanced Auto. Others have recommended and say it fits perfectly. You have to use the vent tube from the old battery.

I just replaced my battery with a MTX48/h6 interstate agm battery 3 yr warrenty 760 cca perfect fit. cost was 231$. I also bought a noco 2 amp smart trickle charger for 54$ that is made for agm, lead ,lithium and 6 volt batteries. quality battery for far less than any optima with great customer service

Do Not use a trickle charger. You need to get a Battery Tender. I started using Deltran Battery Tenders back in 1987 with my first C4 Corvette and have batteries last 10 years. My 2016 C7 is 7 now 7 years old and the battery is still good.
Is a corvette battery charger different from your tender. I just picked up a OPTIMA AGM. I read it was fine to use the vette trickle charger . What is your option based on ?

What battery is the most popular for the C7. In my C5 and C6 I used the Optima Red Top.
Both below are great replacements depending on which your can find. Your GM dealer will most likely have one or the other. These batteries should last you 6-7+ years and cost substantially less than the Optima Red Top.
There are many battery threads here that an "Advanced search" will turn up. As for Optimas, I used the originals in everything with good results. However, since the product line was sold I've had two new ones that were bad when purchased. NO MORE!

tge novo brand of chargers are all smart technology chargers. There’s a specific selection for agm batteries

I just did a bunch of research on the batteries that fit the C7’s. What I found is most are made by the same company. But they all have different specs. The best one I found was also the cheapest. It was the EverStart Platinum AGM Battery, Group H6 from Walmart. It has a 4 year replacement and the highest CCA. They were all about the same as the factory ACDelco specs. Spend what you want but I will buy the battery that is the available on every corner. JMHO
I would go AC, I have heard rumors optima's have gone down hill in the last few years, just stuff I heard at cruise nights. I will say my OEM 2017 Z07 AC battery which has always been on C7 CTEK charger has no signs of wear at all. Full Cranking amperage and full voltage like new...

Those Everstart batteries are amazing! I have used them for a couple of decades now (they used to just be called Energizer) I had one last 9 years in my daily driven Honda Civic! I have always loved the fact that they have such a high CCA, makes them perfect for cold weather climates like mine.
