This was the deal breaker for me. Plus, I plan to get it tuned out and better tip in at the throttle. TB mods and V4 mods will be done by computer so no fooler devices. Costs more up front but less expensive than the Soler TB plus this.
Here in Texas they plug into the OBDII so I make sure to remove it so they don’t “accidentally “ forget to put it back.

Don’t think there is a way to kick it getting in.
I you do, you’re doing it wrong. I’m over 6ft and have never come close to kicking it.

Inspection station is about 2 minutes away. Pull it and drive over for inspection, no problem.

Wierd. They do tell you that you have to drive for a while to get the monitors fully checked. That is why I don't want it and sold it. If something is not in the right readiness state, I want to know it now and not just at emissions time. Since I can get it via a software tweak and other things, I definitely won't settle for it. So for a couple hundred more, I won't have to replace my TB to get better tip in and maybe a little more performance? More money, yes but figure the cost of the TB and it might be cheaper in the long run.

IDK. Maybe the way my leg goes in or out. Height is one thing but the way you swing your leg might be a different thing? Like I said, I have kicked it out more than once.

Like I said I have had no problems passing inspection, none. No having to drive around and go back, just pass the inspection.

I'm not worried about the emissions. It is what it is. I just don't want them to temper with the readiness monitors like they do. I go through emissions once a year. I don't want to have the readiness monitors scrambled. Whether you pass with no problem doesn't interest me. That they do say it does something with the monitor ms bothers me. If one of the emissions components is failing, I want to know about it today instead of when I take the dongle out.

Mine worked perfectly on my 2016 Z06. Loved the V8 mode all of the time, no problems at all. Traded for a 2022 C8 now it's just sitting on a shelf in the garage.

Then spend the money and have it tuned out.

I will keep mine stock. My C6 is tuned, though.

I will. I also want to have the better tip in so I don't have to get a different TB.

Just buy a Diablo I3 and turn the AFM off.

At one time I had both the I3 and Range. Returned the Range for the issues mentioned here.

Stayed with the I3, no problems, no regrets.

Why that over a program?

I'm curious about what HP Tuner can do that this Diablo I3 cannot. TIA

I have been running one in my 2014, and I have had no problems.

Reprogramming is a better solution as long as you don't have a warranty. I've still got a couple of years on mine, so the Range Device is in use.

Do you think the Diablo I3 is better than HP Tuners or vice versa and why?

No idea. I haven't studied that matter since I won't have any tuning done for at least 2 years.

I would suspect Diablo is easier to use but HP Tuner would give you more flexibility in turning parameters.

HP is a higher tuning system. More cost but more ability.

Diablo I3 is less expensive, easier to use but limited in its ability compared to the HP.

All depends on what you want to accomplish.

If you have an automatic, then yes.

If you have a manual, then no.

I was unable to get a Diablo to disable the AFM on my 2017 Stingray. What model year is your C7?

@dcova Were you using the updated unit for 2017 and newer GM vehicles? J/C as I noticed they offered two models for GM.

Yes my Diablo unit was the updated unit for the 2017 and newer. I worked with Diablo support for several weeks for resolution, but a fix did not come about. Eventually I returned the product for a refund while my return window was still open.

That sucks... Well at least you were able to get your money back. Maybe they've made progress? I'm not willing to be the next guinea pig though.
