One year ago today...
The car's first two owners put 12,900 miles on it in seven years of driving (or parking maybe, to be more accurate); current mileage is just under 19,000, so I'm glad we're enjoying it. Owner #1 had the car for one year; Owner #2 for the remaining six.
It was totally stock when we got it, and I've kept it pretty much that way, and intend to. The only changes we've made is adding GM accessory mud flaps, adding a used Stage 1 poverty splitter and Aeroplate that I bought from a local Forum member, and removing the two ground-scraping lower air dams. I ended up shipping them free of charge to a member who was looking for them.
The first thing I did was replace the cabin air filter, followed up by a dealership oil and filter change (I did a recent oil and filter change myself. Before I attempted that on my own, I needed to learn what, if any, special items or procedures it needed. Pretty straightforward, as it turns out). A second dealership visit took care of a coolant flush, brake fluid flush and transmission triple flush.
The finish had a lot of swirl marks and tiny scratches; a local detailer did a paint correction and ceramic coating which was a huge improvement.
Interestingly enough, the service parts decal in the trunk (and the copy of the window sticker from the Corvette Museum) showed the car was ordered with a CC3 transparent roof panel. The panel on the car is solid Torch Red. Which by the way, I'm glad about.
Another change made to the car was replacing the Q7E chrome wheels with aftermarket chrome Z06-style wheels. That was done by Owner #2, as determined by May, 2021 dated inspection stickers found inside the wheels and center caps. The original crossed-flag center caps were in the rear compartment storage cubby, so I swapped them in place of the smooth plain aftermarket caps.
Owner #2 also replaced the battery in September, 2021, with the correct 42 month AC Delco, so I shouldn't have to worry about that for a while.
Two weeks ago I had A/S4s replace the original Pilot Sports, and love the quieter ride.
We love the car; it's been great. Fantastic looks, handling and performance. Even surprisingly good gas mileage. Every now and then, I'll get asked by folks who obviously have some knowledge of Corvettes if it's a Z06. I've learned to reply, with a bit of a smile, 'No, it's one of the slow ones'.
Thanks very much to a number of you here on the Forum who have helped me out many, many times with answers to my questions.

I just passed the one year mark of ownership with my 2014 Z15 M7 and could not be happier. It is a fantastic car to own and drive. The previous owner took very good care of the car and the only addition he made was to install side skirts. So far my changes have been the all season tires and Weather Tech floor mats. It is not my daily driver but I enjoy it often; 28K miles. Really like the Torch Red..
GM did good.
