Default Driving Myself Crazy

Has this eve happened to you? A low mileage 2018 1LT w/ NPP, Z51 Appearance Pkg and wheels ($49,900); 2017 2 LT w/ NPP ($57,900); and a 2019 2 LT pretty much same as the 2017 but at $60,000. Trying to decide if the "comforts" of the 2LT are worth $10K (approx - when you throw in taxes). All 3 have low miles between 3000 - 5000 miles. Do you ever get wrapped around the axle trying to decide if $10K is worth it? I'm actually going crazy trying to decide ...

If your keeping it awhile, I'd go for as much as you can get.. can't add it later if you find you want or need an option you don't have..

I keep my cars 10 - 15 years, I would go for what you really want in the long run.

Look what's in the 2LT and see if it's worth it to you. I can't tell you what's worth it to you. I normally like to pay for the things that make the car faster or handle better. The creature comforts are not that important to me in a fun toy sports car. In my DD, different story.

Yeah, the heated seats aren't important - I never use that on my DD. The seat memory - I'm the only one driving it - another one that isn't important. Navigation is 50-50 since I use Waze most often. The front end camera would be nice for parking purposes - but then again, I never hit the front end with my other Corvette. But I really like the HUD ... I think that may be the driver with my angst in all this. See....I am driving myself nuts

We can't make the decision for you, but you state you do like some of the 2LT options. So throw out the `18 1LT and make a decision between the two 2LT's.
You're welcome.

When, I got my C7, it had options I wanted and options I did not care about. After two years, the options I did not care about, are a requirement now.

Sure seems like the only really thing that matters to you is the hud. I’d get it then and don’t look back. The front camera is very helpful and a good feature to have also. I don’t know your financial situation, but if it was me and I could afford it without any financial difficulties I’d get the 2 LT. They say that’s the sweet spot. You don’t want to get buyers remorse you only live once so what are you waiting for. Good luck with your decision. Just curious what are all the colors

Hey, Doc:
All three sound like excellent choices. Can't go wrong.

Recommend one of the higher optioned (2LT) cars. You will like the HUD. It's only money (easier to say when it ain't OUR money).

When the decision is made and the beast is in your possession, kindly post up a few photos of it.

We trudge on.

A 2LT is a must! Memory seats is a must, think about adjusting them and the steering wheel 10 times a day every time you get back in. Front camera will save the front splitter. Speakers are divine, I love them! Vented seats is not really good in the hot summer but still better than nothing. They heat well though.

Stingray 2LT Coupe (Everything included in 1LT, plus…)
– Heated & ventilated seats
– Power seats w/power bolsters & lumbar support
– 2LT seat trim, console, armrests & instrument panel trim
– Heads-up display
– Curb view front camera
– BOSE 10 speaker audio system
– Heated, power outside mirrors
– Memory package for 8-way seats & steering wheel
– Universal Home Remote
– Frameless inside mirror
– Theft deterrent system

The 3 colors: 1LT - Yellow; 2Lt are the Matrix Gray and Long Beach Red. Yellow is my first choice in color - since I used to have a 2008 MY Vert. The Matrix Gray is very interesting - have never seen one in person - from the posts I get in the Forum - most call it a Primer White. Financially, any one of the vehicles would do. But like someone said here - make sure you don't get buyers remorse and wish you had the other amenities.....

I've been a Forum member on and off for years and I must say - there is no other Forum like this one. Very helpful. Very few snide comments - but those that do pop up, many appear in jest and in fun. It's always a joy to get your opinion on subjects. Very helpful!

Feature wise, I don't know if there is much difference between the 17 and 19 besides the 2 year difference. I'd go for the 19 ONLY IF the actual price difference was a few thousand. Assuming features wise they are the same.

1LT rules out alot of buyers when you go to sell it down the road. I wasn't dead set on a 2LT when I bought my GS but now that I'm looking to upgrade to a Z06 I'm looking for a 2LZ if that tells you anything!? And obviously the same goes for those debating on a GS vs Z06, just get the Z06!

All else being equal buying used, the simplest example possible--but, hey, that's what I always do buying new, as well. The less crappola to go wrong the better!

A 2LT package was a must have for me as I wanted the HUD, upgraded speaker system, garage door opener, upgraded seat trim and the heated/ventilated seats. Is it worth $10K more - that is questionable but that difference also includes the fact it is a 2019 vs a 2018. I do not think I would be happy with the lLT but many on here have it and are very happy with their choice, Only you can decide what is best for you.

I don't have difficulty deciding...if I value the option(s) I will pay for it. 2LT was a must have for me.

This is my first C7. It is a Stingray 3LT Coupe with Z51 M7.

I really like the features both packages offer and it would be extremely difficult to decide one over the other.

My two favorite features of the 3LT are the Memory Seat Package and the HUD. You have this in the 2LT.

And then there is the Z51. It's awesome and quite frankly, value wise, a much undervalued option.

Once you see the Ceramic Matrix Grey in person you can decide for yourself. I have a 2019 GS, 2LT, Heritage Package convertible in Ceramic Matrix Grey and I love the color. Everyone that sees it says, "Hey it's not White". There is a slight color change towards blue in the right outdoor light.

I think the 2019 is the best choice.
I would offer $54k for 2017, and $58k for the 2019. See if either offer is accepted.
January is a cold month to sell and a bargain is in your favor.

Good luck and Merry Christmas.
