With 4 1/4 " puck jacking clearance, im looking for an electric or pneumatic jack. I do have a sufficient floor jack but due to a shoulder injury and the number of times i have been jacking up the car, it would be helpful to find another means of jacking. I checked obvious places like Amazon and harbor frieight with no luck as all require more clearance. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Happy holidays!
QuickJacks are great, but they're heavy. Bob's shoulder injury may not allow him to easily move the QJs around. If he's able to handle them, then yes, they're a great option.

Only warning I will give is that the quickjack lifting pads can twist under the vehicle when applying high levels of force to items like axle nuts. I had a rubber lifting pad buckle under a Subaru while removing an axle nut using a breaker bar, this caused the entire quickjack to slip out from under the car. Dropping the vehicle. Once one side tilted, then the car landed into the currently upright jack on the other side.
My wife documented this the same way she would a work place incident, as she works in industry. After submitting to QuickJack we got them to basically acknowledge the fault. They re-purchased the jacks, then paid about $2,500 for repairs to the vehicle body work on the side. That's where all the damage really happened. Luckily I wasn't in a position for anything to land on me.
I'm currently shopping for an anchored two post lift that will avoid easily rocking over and collapsing.
Its fortunate you didn't get hurt ! I will remember this when my vehicles are up on my Quick Jack 7000

Give it a nice shove or shake comparable to the forces you'll be working with. They revised the rubber pad design after our incident, so I think the newer ones will stay captured inside the actual metal frame versus twist outward.

All, just wanted thank everyone for trying to assist me. I think i can make one of the options noted work which will be great for my physical limitations enhanced by OLD age! Lol.. looks like delivery will be around new years so will let you know how i make out. Thanks again!
One solution to moving Quick Jack around is found in a couple of YT videos - Install rollers on the QJs, store them under the car and pull them into position when needed.
Is it plausible to replace the clutch on a C7 with a quickjack? i.e. does it raise the vehicle high enough to get the clearance to drop the torque tube, and is it sturdy enough?
You really don't need the jacking pucks at the front shipping slot. The pucks are used to protect the plastic panel where it curves under the frame but there is plenty of clearance to place a jack pad in direct contact with the frame without damaging the plastic body parts. The pucks were originally intended for the rear shipping slots on the C5s since there was almost no clearance between the shipping slot and the plastic panel. On the C6 GM opened up the space and it became possible to not use the puck if you were careful. That was carried over to the C7.
This is what the C7 Factory Service Manual shows as far as jacking the car and using jacking pucks. Even though they are reusing C5 artwork you may notice the pucks aren't mentioned in the description or shown in the artwork.

I have the QJ 7000, not the XL.

If you take notice on the picture with my Vette on the Jacks there are wheels that I mounted where I roll the QJ's around very easily.
