Default Info Screen Backorder

Finally the info Screen on my 2014 Corvette quit working. It was flickering intermittently for awhile.
Took it to dealership on AUGUST 15. STILL didn't T FIXED. NO WORD WHEN IT MAY COME AVAILABLE.
I heard this was a common problem especially with the 2014 Corvette model year.
. Sure hope this will get fixed before Spring?

Who truly knows what’s holding up production on everything. I’m waiting on a 3LT dash to be made and the dealer has no ETA.

Good luck getting the infotainment screen and then with the repair. Already four months with no idea when the part will be available - that really sucks.

Have you checked sources other than the dealer? A good ebay dealer may have some.

At least some features controlled by infotainment Screen can still be used. RADIO still works too thru steering wheel controls. But NO HEATER or AC. Needless to say will miss the backup camera the most.
. Fortunately the car was just put away for the Winter.

Default Info Screen Blues

With all the high tech stuff available today I am a little surprised there is not a state of the art Info Center available from the aftermarket.
Sure glad we still have extended warranty. Not a cheap fix

You are fortunate, really, that it's not something critical to the actual functioning of your car. Best of luck, and an otherwise pleasant holiday!

I've felt this looks promising (there are cheaper ones on aliexpress but they may not have the wiring harnesses):

https://a.co/4gH2kJ1

but a) you lose access to the hidden cubby and b) vehicle-specific settings ... which you don't have with a broken OEM screen anyway.

Check with a good car stereo shop they can replace the ribben cable (majoriy of failures) with something else that works. You should be able to get some You Tube videos on the fix with some searching
