Info system Screen Static
I've got 2 issues going on. Radio screen has scratchy lines, jumps and sometimes goes dark. Hit a bump and it goes nuts. Sometimes the screen is clear, working properly. Other issue is a rattle when idling. Give car the gas pedal and rattle stops. Took car to the dealership for diagnosis and they're saying car needs radio replacement and a torque tube replacement. Anybody had these issues with their Stingray? Is the torque tube a common problem. I know the radio is and are there aftermarket replacement? Is the radio vin locked?

My ‘14 had issues with the infotainment screen and the screen was replaced under warranty. Total cost, including replacement of the shift bezel which broke during the repair, was in the $1300 range. Symptoms with the screen included flickering and going blank.
Have not had any issue with the torque tube.
