C7 Harmonic Balancer

My C5 survived the harmonic balancer problem. M6 C6 survived the harmonic balancer problem. I now have a C7. Did GM get it right with the C7 or is the balancer still a potential problem?

I've not seen mention of it for C7s. But, you can always do an "Advanced search" across the C7 Forums and check. (btw, my C5's was replaced, too)

I too have not seen posts about the harmonic balancer failing on the C7.

Now the area of concern is the belt tensioner leaking, but at least that is easier to change. It's always something.....

The balancer on my 2016 was chirping quite noticeably at 30,000 miles and sounding like I had a supercharger under the hood when stepping on the gas. Had to have it replaced.

I replaced my harmonic balancer when a new 8 rib balance came with my A&A Supercharger. But I had no issues with the stock balancer with 32,000 miles on the ticker.
