I have 64gb flash drive in the usb behind the screen.
The LARGE drives you will need to format to FAT32.
You can google how to check the format and to change the format option.
I did buy a 1TB drive but didn’t work, wrong format, until I reformatted it as discussed in a previous thread.

I currently have a 32Gig formatted to FAT32 and it works fine with the single album.

I have a number of albums copied to a flash drive and it works fine in the car - and yes, you can choose what you want to listen to or can set it up on a random selection of the songs.
I have a 32gb sd card formatted to fat32 with multiple albums under each artist folder. What I have noticed is that after an album plays, it starts over instead of going to the next album. Odd. Ive looked to see if there was an option to continue, but havent found it in my 2014 3LT
