Basically in Track mode the flaps with close as the engine moves through rpm/load conditions that cause drone in the cabin. Other than that, the flaps stay open. So if you don't mind drone....pull the fuse. If you want to avoid drone, run in Track mode.
No it is not. The flaps close at certain speeds and RPM's even in Track Mode. You options are to pull the fuse, install a mild to wild(remote fuse pull), or tune the CCM with HPTuners to set Track Mode to always fully open.
The NPP fuse, don't recall the fuse number. You can install a Mild 2 Wild switch which allows an easy way to "pull the fuse". You can control it with the remote control or link it to your HomeLink if you have that.
Sorry, I don't see an NPP fuse in the manual. Also, what is a Wild switch, and where do I get it? Appreciate your help.
The fuse # depends on the year of the car. Look in your owner's manual front fuse list for "Exhaust Valve 2". Dont pull the other exhaust fuse its for AFM.
Thanks again. You folks on the Forum are a storehouse of useful info. This is my first Vette (I ordered new). I was a Porsche driver for 41 years. Love my car. Bought to travel in. It's a Lime Rock Green coupe.

I generally always run in track mode, but I just installed the mild to wild switch, took about 10 mins, keeps the valves open all the time regardless of engine load or RPM.. works great
