Default Vossen Wheels

Good evening everyone

Does anyone have experience with Vossen wheels? I’ve got 3 different ones I’m interested in, which are all flow formed. However, they look really good, seem quality, made in the good ‘ol USA and are pretty decently priced imho. I’m not looking for something to use at the track but something better than our crap OEM wheels

Any input is greatly appreciated 😁

Do you have a St'ray or wide-body C7? This is important, make no mistake. You can get by perfectly well with most "flow-form" on a St'ray, but for a wide-body you are most likely little better off, if any, with anything other than quality, fully-forged aftermarket wheels... period. Simply look at the cracked/bent wheel thread that's always on the first page here, it having a gazillion posts. Tracking is not the issue; it's simple physics. All the best, in any event.

Agreed with the above post GS/Z06 vs Stingray makes a big difference.

What do you not like about the OEM wheels exactly?

If it is wide body cracking, then of course that sucks. Stingray... style maybe???

It’s a Z06. I’m really going for looks not performance honestly. The car is more of a weekend car and I don’t track it

Buy them. Although I have fully forged on mine currently, I’ve had several flow forged sets, including on a dedicated track car. Never had an issue.

I bought the Vossen HF-5's from @Motorsports LA this past fall. Got them ceramic coated and installed about 2 months before I put the car away so I don't have too many miles on them yet. I was in the same boat you're in. Weekend driver and basically going for looks. So far I have no complaints and I love the look. Will report back if that changes.

Those look wicked. I was thinking about going with the HF-5 myself and was curious what they looked like in black. Now I have my answer lol

I went with the Rohana RFX11s. Had them ceramic coated and they are rotary forged. All four of the original wheels cracked.

Vossens are very popular for the Corvette market, especially the HF5.

We're a Vossen dealer and can get you taken care of. Feel free to message or text us!
