So I took my car into Day's Chevrolet in Jasper GA for a new battery. They screwed something up. After the battery replacement the trunk won't open with the key fob nor the dash button. It will open with the key. The lock and unlock buttons on the key fob work.
LUCKILY I tried the trunk before I left the dealership to see if they connected the vent hose and that's when I discovered the issue. So the dealer knows they did something wrong. So my questions are:
1. What could have they did wrong?. The lock and unlock buttons on the key fob worked correctly. They told me there is no fuse per say for the trunk.
2. When else could be broke? I did not test much other then the car runs and I can get into the trunk (convertible) with the physical key.
I left ny car at the dealership and someone will be looking at it tomorrow morning.
Fixed, thank God. I brought the car in with the convertible top down. Apparently the car got confused regarding the state of the top after the battery disconnect. The dealer (per my suggestion) put the top up and everything is fine now. I never got to ask them about re-indexing the windows after I found the trunk issue. I'll check that out tomorrow when I pick up the car.
