Default Unknown plastic piece

Just a got a new to me 2016 convertible with Z51.
I found a U shaped plastic piece in the glove box. I can't figure out where it goes. I've searched all the numbers stamped on it.
It's interior for sure.
Pics attached.
Thanks!

I've looked through our coupe and don't see a match. Maybe it's a vert-only part; or maybe not even from a C7?

Can you post the part # from it? I can't make it out...

On one side is the GM logo and "IAC 6449".
On the other side is "amn 46781" and "PA66"

Thanks. I still can't come up with anything.

Depending on the size of the part, it almost looks like some sort of bezel that a shoulder harness would pass through.

It does look like the upper cover/guide for the seatbelt.

I agree with above. It's not this piece is it? Not sure how different they look in a convertible.

What is it? The diagram is difficult to decipher.

Agreed; it is difficult to understand.

But in my case, and judging by your avatar in your case too, since we both have coupes and the diagram shows the convertible setup, neither you nor I have a frame of reference. Since the OP has a vert, I'll bet he can figger it out!

Thanks everyone!

It's a trim piece that dresses up the opening in the trim on the header panel at the top of the windshield where the convertible top latches. It didn't look that bad when I was trying to find a spot for it. Now that it's installed (and I ordered the other side), it looks much cleaner.
