Mirror Tap Question
I’m thinking about using a mirror tap to power a dashcam. Do we know what amperage the fuse is for this circuit?
I doubt that a camera will pull more amperage than a radar detector but just checking.

I do not know.
I do know I have a Blendmount Tap on a 2016 3lt mirror, with an Escort 360c, and an Escort M2 Dashcam being powered by it. They are being held by a Blendmount holder.

Escort makes a unit that has both and it works of mirror tap.. 12v is 12v should work.. just how much amperage does your camera draw?
