Default A8 Transmission problem status

I bought 2016 C7 with 2300 miles on odometer in early 2019.. A year or so later I had the shutter and hard shift from 1 to 2. Took to dealer who said they found out it all ready had the triple flush. They then kept Vette for a couple of days and made adjustments to the transmission. This worked great. However, it is now doing this again.

What is G M's current policy on fixing this? There are 36,700 miles on Vette and I have an extended Chevrolet warranty good until early 2024 or 60,000 miles.

What is the current fix?

Thank you,
Bill

When was the triple flush done? They didn't figure out the problem until late 2018 and that's when the correct fluid was placed in service.

Elmer makes a good point - the current triple flush procedure with the current fluid has seemed to work well in resolving the shudder problem. If that doesn’t work, it could be a much more major problem with the transmission.

I'm now driving a C5 but am very familiar with the shudder on C7's. I have a very long thread here from 2 years ago. The final fix for me was to remove 8oz of transmission fluid and add in two tubes of Lubegard shudder fix.

Separate and unrelated question for anyone that knows. I removed the OEM emblems when I had my C7. Someone from the forum wants to purchase the front. I didn't label them and they are different sizes. Can someone pm me which is which?

You probably have the BLACK Label fluid in your transmission if the flush was done before 2/19.

If so, just do another triple flush with the BLUE label Mobil 1.
