Default plenum color help!

Hey guys I just picked up black carbon fiber fuel rail covers with red writing and I got a great deal on it but I wanted to get a plenum cover and wanted to know if you would go with a color matching to the car or a black carbon fiber one or gloss black any thoughts or pics would be helpful.

First off, what color is your car?

When I do the engine bay in my cars, I try to be consistent with all the components matching to a significant degree. Not saying you can’t use some imagination though.

The exterior of my car is torch red and has the factory carbon flash highlights. So I went with a torch red/carbon flash combo under the hood. Here are a couple of pics:

Obviously the choice is yours. Hopefully you will get a number of responses, with pics, and that will help you narrow down what you think will look good.

I left the plenum cover stock and painted the fuel rail covers to match the body color. I also added a couple of polished stainless pieces, but still trying to keep it tasteful.

Save the wave and don’t text and drive,

I was able to score a carbon fiber one a little while back, from a forum member.

So my car is Laguna blue and was thinking of doing the plenum cover to color match the car and leave the fuel rails carbon fiber gloss black or to you guys think the gloss black and or just plain carbon fiber black will look good~

I'd keep the plenum uncovered so it'll bleed off as much heat as possible. It should make for a denser charge, too. The last thing I'd wanna do is trap more heat at that location.

Rustoleum hammertone black then gray then silver, came out quite nice. I just wanted a change from stock.

Maybe you could do something similar to what Vetteman Jack has if you like it. Keep the plenum cover blue and paint the raised parts carbon flash, or get it hydro dipped carbon carbon fiber. You would just want to make sure the carbon fiber matches.
Also, pictures could help us visualize what you have as well.
